Ice Soulation #poem by Jan Sand

To freeze the seas of sociality requires to seize
The multiples of mes in internal concentrates of observation.
The pocket telephone or computer glues attentions
Into the atmospheric cascades of interminable babbles
Of budget nudges for commercialization to swipe individuality,
Submerge all urges into purchasable competition in greeds
That satisfy no necessary needs nor sensible desires.

One need not squat, space suited on a crater edge of the Moon
To enjoy a rising distant Earth, to feel a pleasant relief
From the constant clatter that fractures delights of peace
When any kitchen chair and a cup of coffee will suffice.

Penetrations into precious memories, fighting dragons of regrets.
Lightning bolts of understandings that shatter puzzles that matter
Are the precious ores that yield strange fields, new views of planetary dimension.
Nothing that we think we know can resist persistences of new perception.

The benthos creatures of our minds contain neglected comprehensions
That navigate our dreams,. Timidly they ply our beliefs, uncover fractures.
One must prey in silence to capture their intents , uncover odd presumptions.
Scattershot investigation can, perhaps, reveal the fantasies of the real.
